More About Carol

I was “horse crazy” as long as I can remember, and although somewhere deep down I knew I’d have a horse some day and live in the country, at the time I couldn’t see how it was possible.
My dream horse was the Welsh Cob. Raven was a Sec. C Welsh Pony
of Cob Type.
I found many ways to surround myself with horses, including via my dream job as Media Coordinator at Spruce Meadows in Calgary, Alberta, where I loved every minute of those 8.5 years.
I can still remember the elation I felt being paid for work I was so “over the top” excited to be doing.
As a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Specialist, Carol Marriott helps
participants become aware of their energy while engaging with the horses.
Horses pick up on our subtle body language and feelings such as tension, fear, happiness, sadness, anger, grief and confusion.
Horses are always in the moment, and their “feedback” is clear, immediate, non-judging and authentic, based on how horses naturally behave.
Equine-Facilitated Wellness can be effective for people of all ages and all walks of life, including corporate team building, life skills for youth, grief and loss personal & professional growth and development. No horse experience is necessary and there is no riding involved.
